First Response
Prayer should be our first response, not our last resort. We've all said the words "I guess all we can do is pray." This tells me that most of us don't really believe in the power of prayer. If God is who He says He is, praying to the Lord of the universe shouldn't be taken lightly. The fact is He hears us, but do we really want to be heard? If we really wanted to be heard our faith would level mountains, our words would penetrate hearts, our boldness would change a generation, and our lives would be a picture of Christ. We could feed thousands if only we really wanted to be heard. As a generation we cry to have a voice but have we stayed silent for so long that's there is no more desire to be heard? Fathers would come home, mothers would stand, sons would respect, daughters would submit to the Fathers love. The teens who are all alone, hurting themselves, convinced that they are hideous, would feel the love of Christ! Now go in peace and pray. Before you tweet pray, before you complain pray, before you rant pray, before you destroy pray, before hope is lost:
