Just waiting.
And now, here I am still waiting: Waiting on God to help me, waiting for my schoolwork to do itself, waiting to go on this fantastic journey in my future, waiting for the money to come in from fundraising, and waiting for change. Isaiah 40:31 says “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” Even though this verse speaks truth, I don’t think it meant I should sit around and be lazy. Yet, still I sit and wait, hoping God will spring forth and set fire to my heart. The honest truth is, no one can do that but myself. Although you can do nothing without God, but you have to make the first step. James 4:8 Does say to draw near to God and he will draw near to you and purify your heart. I guess all that’s left to do is to draw near! So what are you waiting for. 😉
